Gone Wandering

I haven't had a day off in more than a month, the weather has been rainy and those two facts have kept me City-bound for too long. Yesterday, I was restless and found myself itching to hit the road again. I wasn't sure where I wanted to go. The usual places felt somewhat tired. I wanted to see something new, but didn't want to go all that far because it was 1 p.m. when I finally got going.

I pointed Jackie north and we set out to enjoy a trip along Hwy. 1 to Pt. Reyes. Sometimes I feel like I know Hwy. 1 from Pacifica to Santa Cruz like the back of my hand, so it was nice to explore a new stretch of road. Here are some of the highlights:
