Fun with Bubble Wrap

Legos, Tinker Toys, Match Box Cars .... there are lots of classic toys around our house (meaning the collective homes of my family members), but through the ages there has been one gift that has brought more immediate joy than any other: Bubble Wrap.

There's a certain delight that comes with receiving bubble wrap as a gift. It's simple. It's fun. It's something that you're technically not supposed to play with when it's serving its intended purpose, so getting your own package of it all wrapped up with a bow on it is really one of the simplest pleasures out there. It is the same for almost-4-year-olds (above) as it is for almost 75-year-olds (below) and barely-look-a-day-over-35-year-olds (top).
